I've been waiting on the Z06 list at the local dealer for 2 years. They are telling me I will be able to order my build at the end of this year. I went to the build site and a fully loaded convertible is about 185k. I doubt I'll get it any cheaper

I went conservative and extended the 500 mile period to 1000 miles and then did an oil change (same filter). Then, of course respected the 1500 mile period for tracking or similar operation. 3200 miles and no issues, other then a moderately high oil dilution as per Polaris on my oil analysis.

Tons of 23 are not selling. Basic White black red and grey are now offered for 63k while base sticker is 68.3k. The trans issues and recalls not helping. I will not by a corvette in a situation when same dealership ofers for a 50k plus truck 1.99% apr and to me on a corvette no apr deals. Look, most people that wanted a c8 already got it. I am in the market l love this car but in order to buy the car l need to get the same deal as a 2020 stinger. 59k base and zero apr. The party is over, no more 50k over sticker now its our time to deal.

I have both the Escalade and a Navigator. If I had to have one, I would choose the Navigator by far. The Navigator has a lot more storage, definitely better gas milage. The Lincoln is more user friendly. If you want to put on the over head camera , just touch a button. The Escalade upon entering you have to pull yourself in by the string wheel, and I think that caused my telescopic steering wheel to stop working after 500 miles. As for the passenger they have to grab onto anything they can to pull themselves in. Lincoln has grab handles. There is no over head compartment for glasses in the Escalade. There is no center console available on the Caddy also. The Navigator has more information in the heads up display including your turn signals. As for the seats the Lincoln blows Caddy out of the water. And massaging seats is standard, with 30 way adjustments.The Caddy seems to be more gimmicky, the Lincoln is more business like. But both cars a beautiful, and most people will be very satisfied with a Caddy, If you never had a Lincoln. And Lincoln service is far better. There are a lot of things that I like about the Escalade, you won't be disappointed.

GM is known for sticking with the same design and tech for a long time. The competitors switched to things like twin turbos. I think here you get the max performance from a V8 to fuel economy ratio, which is why its slightly underpowered.

The #1 and single most important feature is the ability to cycle oil to the cam phasers before cold starting... depress the pedal all the way down, simultaneously pressing and holding the start button for 5 sec, release the gas pedal and start button at the same time... this will greatly aid in the prevention of cam phaser rattles.

I hope they make the back end nicer. The tail lights are hideous and the plastic vents...ugh
